Designs, implements and tests defined work packages (SW, documentation or HW)

in accordance with cloud computing or storage knowledge and present the relev

ant documentation to other members.

Education
bachelor or higher of the major Computer Science or similar

Required Knowledge and Skills:
• UNIX administrator experience (LINUX and/or Solaris operating

systems)
• Programming knowledge (C/C++/Java)
• MS Windows knowledge
• Cloud computing/storage concept/knowhow
• Communication abilities
• Proactive behavior (prevention before problem arrives)

Languages
• English –fluent in spoken and written
• German – advantageous

Interns for Configuration Management tasks (headcount: 1 ) 

Tasks / Responsibilities
CM for projects
• Setting-up and adaptation of the structure in a CM system in

accordance with the concrete requirements of a project
• Setup of Software productions (e.g. Makefiles)
• performing software productions
• Supply of project/process specifically defined Metrics data t

o support the project (CM report system)

• Coaching of the CM system users for the recovery of system an

d handling problems
• Support, administration and actualization of the CM system in

accordance with the newest technology.

Administration of UNIX-Server:
• Maintenance (patches, etc.)
• User-management
• SW installations
• Compilation and configuration of open source applications and

tools

Education
Bachelor or higher of the major Computer Science or similar

Required Knowledge and Skills:
• UNIX administrator experience (LINUX and/or Solaris operating

systems)
• Script programming skills (Perl, shell)
• CM tool(ClearCase, CVS or Dimensions) experience is preferred

• Programming knowledge (C/C++)
• MS Windows knowledge
